Problem
Capture wear contamination missed by the naval ship’s existing filtration system and prevent it from prematurely wearing on fuel system components, reducing fuel burn efficiency, and increasing emissions. The source of this contamination is the corrosion of transmission lines that carry the fuel to the end user.

Solution
Install an OEI magnetic filter scrubber on the fuel line to remove contamination down to sub-micron levels without restricting flow.

Results
The magnetic filter scrubber has successfully removed enough contamination to prolong the life of the engine and fuel system components. The fuel burn efficiency was improved and emissions were reduced.
